I currently work in our Specialist Business Finance sales support function supporting our Structured Asset Finance, Flow and Specialist Car business lines. In addition to this, I am the internal point of contact for circa 100 of our brokers. What I love about HTB is that there are no barriers. If you are good at your job you get noticed and rewarded accordingly. I am a driven and ambitious individual and HTB has given me responsibility from an early stage.
Over the last 18 months, I feel my exposure to the range of different departments and skills has had a massive impact on my career path.
We work in a very supportive environment, which stems from senior management down to colleagues. HTB is a young and vibrant company and as a relatively new player in the market, we understand the need to be different to other lenders in our sector. This approach is driven by a positive culture of constant feedback and understanding the needs of our customers and intermediaries in our chosen markets.
I joined HTB as their first apprentice under a modern apprenticeship programme. Since joining, I have gained invaluable experience within the Specialist Business Finance department in a number of areas including sales, credit and operations.
Over the last 18 months, I feel my exposure to the range of different departments and skills has had a massive impact on my career path. The supportive working environment has enabled me to develop to a point where I have been promoted twice since joining and I am now working towards the next stage in my career at HTB.
In the summer I play as much cricket as possible and I also love my football, both playing and being an Arsenal season ticket holder.
